Tuition fee is Rs. 4,700. The reimbursement of the Tuition fee in respect of all eligible candidates will be as per the orders issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.

    • One faculty member, from Textile Technology Department have been appointed as Placements Officer. Further, all the students will be trained in interview skills as the topics have been included in the regular curriculum of English. Mock interviews are being conducted to enable them to face real interviews confidently.

  • Innovation Cell An Innovation Cell was established at the institute. The purpose of this cell is to make them aware of the latest technological advancements. They conduct awareness camps related to ignite the young minds so that they can think creatively. The faculty in charge would guide the students in selecting the projects and also help them prepare innovative models for exhibiting in events such as ‘Techfest’ conducted at different levels- institute, district, and state.
  • Games and Sports Facilities On-campus, students are encouraged towards games and sports. In this context, few of our student went to state-level competitions of IPSGM(Inter Polytechnic Sports and Games Meet) every year. in the district level of IPSGM few prizes won by our students every year
  • Extra-Curricular Activities Five villages (Ankireddy Palem, Vengalaya Palem, China Palakaluru, NayuduPet, and Chowdavaram) have been adopted by this Institution. Each village has been assigned to two faculty members and a group of students. They visit the village once in a fortnight and interact with the villagers and enlighten them regarding swatch Bharath, the importance of cash-less transactions, and any other govt. sponsored schemes etc., The program Vanam-Manam is being practiced as a continuous process involving the students, faculty, office staff, and external agencies through which plantation drives are conducted during the rainy season. The focus is more on the survival of plants than the no. of saplings. Drip irrigation facility is provided in 2 acres with the assistance of RDT, an NGO. Conducted various awareness programs for the students inviting experts to the Institution viz., Legal, Banking, Gender, Anti-ragging, Health Awareness, Blood grouping camp, International Yoga Day, Cashless Transactions, Energy Conservation, etc., Organized Academic Excellence Meet i.e. a two-day Career Planning Awareness camp for students from Rural Government schools of nearby villages.
  • Soft Skill Development Facilities The personality development topics such as Attitude, Adaptability, Goal Setting, Motivation, Time Management, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Problem Solving, Team Work, Leadership, Stress Management etc, are taught to the students through activities designed for Enhancing English and Employability Skills for final year students.
  • Curricula and syllabus for each of the Programmes as approved by the University Adherence to the academic calendar is strictly followed as the curriculum is designed and the examinations are conducted throughout the state as per the schedule by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh.
  • Academic Calendar of the University The Academic year for all the Courses shall be in accordance with the Academic Calendar constituted by Commissioner of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh.Working days in the week are from Monday to Saturday. And there shall be 7 periods of 50 minutes duration on all working days.
  • Internal Continuous Evaluation System and place Theory subjects: For the internal assessment, Unit tests are conducted for theory subjects. The question papers are set by the subject teachers who have taught them. Internal examinations (2 Unit Tests / Semester) will be conducted for awarding sessional marks on the dates specified. Average of marks obtained in all the prescribed tests will be considered for awarding the sessional marks. Practical subjects: Student’s performance in Laboratories / Workshop shall be assessed during the year/ semester of study for 40% marks in each practical subject. Allotment of marks should be discrete taking into consideration of the students‘ skills, accuracy, recording and performance of the task assigned to him / her. Each student has to write a record / log book for assessment purpose. In the subject of Drawing, which is also considered as a practical paper, the same rules hold good. Drawing exercises are to be submitted in order for assessment. External Examination: For theory examinations The Examination committee of the Institution sets question papers employing the services of experienced faculty of the department. For practical examinations, except in drawing, there shall be two examiners. The external examiner shall be appointed by the Principal in consultation with the respective Head of Section preferably choosing a qualified person from any local Industry/ nearby Government Polytechnic/ Local Government Organization. The Question paper should cover all the experiments/exercises prescribed.
  • In-plant Training Assessment: Assessment of Learning outcomes by both the faculty and Training mentor of the Industry for 80% and Training Report, Demonstration of any one of the skills listed in Learning outcomes & Viva- Voce for 20%.
